We are pleased to be showing the the view of Lake Tekapo from the north end of the lake,
via the new webcam at Roundhill Ski Area.
The view is looking south towards Lake Tekapo village and Mt John.

Lake Alexandrina with Cass Valley and Joseph Range beyond.	Only visible above the Joseph Range, Mount Cook is often obscured by cloud.	A zoomed view of Roundhill Ski Area. View only available during the ski season.

	Some of the world's best scenery can be seen from the Mount John Walkway that passes around the summit.	Meridian Energy's lake level monitoring station. Station is only surrounded by water when the lake is over 75% full.
	Tekapo Saddle is occasionally 'choked' with cloud, indicating the east coast is clouded in with an Easterly wind.	Wind shadowing in a West or Sou-west wind results in an erratic response when blowing from that direction.
